Dating advice on a french guy
Many years ago I was in a park in Paris with a girl named Sandrine who was pining away for a boy named Pierre. She picked a flower and started pulling off its petals, but rather than the familiar refrain "He loves me, he loves me not," she carefully intoned: "He loves me a little, a lot, passionately, madly, not at all." I instantly thought that Sandrine was one clever French girl until I learned that, no, this is the standard French refrain. You won’t come home to a messy house or to it drunk and watching football. It won’t talk back to you, and it’s tucked away and only comes out when you need it. I also studied the French dating customs prior to going abroad, why? After watching one too many Louis Garrell films you start dreaming about your own French guy, admit it.Another reason why I began studying them was so I could avoid making a silly mistake and accidentally give a guy the wrong idea.
Almost every girl that goes studying abroad dreams about falling in love in Paris, even I went through that phase.
